The THEXOR research group had the pleasure of taking part in the European Researchers’ Night 2026 (#UNIGHT2026), an event dedicated to bringing research and innovation closer to the public.

Prof. Raffaella Sesana and Ludovica Tromba presented the fascinating world of infrared thermography, introducing the physical principles behind the technique and showing its applications in research and industry.

The event was a great opportunity to engage with visitors, especially young students, and demonstrate how thermography can be used to investigate materials and components in a non-destructive way.

The enthusiasm, curiosity, and questions from the participants made the experience particularly rewarding and highlighted the importance of communicating scientific research beyond the laboratory.

Looking forward to the next edition! 🚀
